Tumu Police Deters Youth from Stopping Rosewood Harvesting

Some youth of Tumu town accosted an articulator truck fully loaded with Rose wood leaving the township. The action of the youth emanated from the recent re-ban of harvesting, transportation and exportation of rosewood following public outcry.
Minutes after stopping the truck and trying to off load the wood pieces from the truck, they were stormed by a team of police persons driven in a land cruiser pic-up car with registration number Gp 3164  belonging to the police. The police intimidated the youth by trying to shoot anyone of them who dare stop the transportation of the rosewood.
There was a fierce resistance from the youth which ostensibly scared the police, but before the police left the scene, they did  vow to facilitate the banned activities of rosewood logging for their selfish interest.
