Abota a suburb of Ejura the municipal capital town  of Ejura/Sekyeredumase Municipal of the Ashanti Region of Ghana gets flooded flowing a heavy down pour the previous night.

Reporting to this news portal,Mr. Saddique Abubakar said many house were this morning seen submerged and properties worth of thousands carried away or destroyed by the flood. Though no causalities have been recorded as at the time of filing this story,some victims were seen crying and mourning over lost properties and doubt weather their houses could stand the test of time should the town experience such heavy down pour again.

One victim who spoke to this portal stipulated inadequate drainage system in the town is solely the cause of the flooding which contradicts the view of another victim who said non-adhence to physical planning and hence poor lay out of buildings is the major contributory factor to the flooding in the area.Personnel of Nadmo were not around and yet to be notified at the time of filing this report.Victims have made a passionate appeal to NADMO and other benevolent organizations to come to their aid.
