I write with grief and heavy heart as political leaders and traditional authorities who ought to protect our land from the gripes of unscrupulous and money conscious people have gone behind us to get their dirty looking palms greased.

Barely a month ago, King Kong and his small kings had a crunch meeting to deliberate on austerity measures to halt the invasion of rosewood merchants into our fragile ecological zone with the intention of raping the vegetation. In this said meeting,King Kong being the super-imposed superimo vowed to destool any small king who condones and connive with this illegal loggers to rape our fragile vegetation. This news became a topic of discussion the inhabitants of the Sissala land of which some felt King Kong has bitten more than he could chew while others like my very self thought it was the best solution to deter this disgusting and in futuristic acts on our vegetation.

In the same, the representative of the central government in our District had also vowed if even it will caused him been relieved of his position to resist the illegal logging of the rosewood. This position he took got an applause from many who felt a sigh of relieve.

Another mouth piece representing the youth of the land ;who seemingly had failed to walk their talk during the first phase of this distasteful activities (rosewood logging) have now vowed to correct their mistakes on the second phase.

The rosewood merchants who are operating and backed by a purported letter from forestry ministry to convey already fled logs and with a date expiring somewhere this very week have with a locally arranged authority decided to feel more logs even than they can pick if given four months.

Now lets see where these authority is coming from:

I can emphatically state here that, all well-meaning sons and daughters of the land who joned the bandwagon to rescue the merchants from raping our fragile ecological savannah zone have been betrayed and sold out by our so called leaders.

Money has changed hands between the rosewood logs merchants, our political leader and our very respected king kong. This very shameful act took place at a gust house, where these respected two representatives shamefully drove their cars to meet these small boys and had neck breaking agreements. Flood gates were opened to these merchants immediately after monies changed hands. They have therefore given an additional four months to these monsters to continue their work even when the permission granted to salvage the already felt logs y authorities above would be expiring somewhere this very week.

Not only was it shameful to be bribed by these two bodies, they have also arranged for our traditional council to be bribed, our district assembly to bribed, our forestry office and our only reliable voice for the youth was also called and asked not to cough but rather succumb to the bribe from these monsters. Quite apart from these arrangement,it was also conditioned that, every chief and his people in the communities where this activities take place will have a share of this shameful booty.

This marks a sign of weakness to our land and integrity as a Sissala people. This also go to tell the whole World why our traditional authorities like chiefs are not respected as their colleague chiefs in the southern part of the country. Nobody of sound mind will ever defend king kong on discourse of our land. I doubt if people will accord king kong rousing welcome should he be accused of money laundering in akwasi Broni land.

We will not be surprised if we as people are being sold in the near future and this same thing happened during slavery. We live in a society where two or three people can just take a decision that will wreak havoc on us for decades. Posterity is the truest judge. The end time is near.
