This chaos happened a fortnight ago which led to mass fleeing by students to seek refuge as security apparatus was called in to keep calm the situation.

The unrest said to have triggered by reasons as mass seizure and destruction of mobile phones used by students especially WASSCE candidates even in examination hall and also the threat of calling for cancellation of already written papers by final year students.

The night anarchy deepened when students amidst flying stones broke into teachers bungalows and vandalize their belongings, vandalize louver blades of the whole of the seniors block, ransack the kitchen store and made away with some food stuffs, vandalize an old school pick-up truck, let loose the head teacher goats, and ran after teachers and armed police persons with stones and sticks. Whilst the armed police personnel were trying incessantly to keep calm the chaotic scenes almost all the students both innocent and perpetrators fled the campus to seek refuge in nearby homes while others fled into the bush.

The development was a replay of what nearly culminated into the murder of a teacher on duty last year when, he seized mobile phones belonging students and had refused to give them back. For the timely intervention residents around the campus the said teacher would have been murdered as he was hotly chased with every weapon students could lay their hands on.

Representing the G.E.S; Mr Mutawakilu Fasasi also expressed his displeasure by the development and has charged the students to be forth coming with vital information on the real perpetrators of the incident as that would help exonerate most of them from crimes.
