Hon. Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane, Member of Parliament for the Nabdam constituency has organized vacation classes for Senior High School Students in his Constituency. This gesture is especially target at the gold track students who are currently at home. Twenty-Two (22) professional teachers are taking the children in four core subjects’ areas including Mathematics, English Language, Social Studies and Integrated Science. Some elective subjects including Economics, Elective Mathematics, Literature in English and Christian Religious Studies are also being taught.

He however called on President Akuffo Addo and the NPP administration to put the educational system back on track by providing more infrastructures and eliminating the gold track system.
The M.P has also provided a 25 seater bus that conveys the students from their homes to the Education Outreach Centre at Logre for the classes. This bus according to the students picks them up from Monday to Saturday for the classes and back to their various communities and homes.
Some of the students who had the opportunity to speak to the media explained how beneficial the M.Ps initiative is impacting positively in their studies. They promised not to disappoint him by taking their studies seriously. They ceased the opportunity to express their gratitude to him and wished him good health and long life.
One hundred and forty two (142) students are taking part in the vacation classes. The classes started on 7th March, 2019 and is expected to end on 9th May, 2019 to enable the students prepare themselves back to school in accordance with the Ghana Education Service Double Track Calendar.
