A LETTER TO THE THREE BIG ELEPHANTS

Dear Deputy Upper West Regional Minister, the Sissala East MP and the Sissala East MCE,

I trust you doing well wherever you are! We the people of Sissala East Municipal as you are forcing us to call it are living in anguish and lamentation. I am sorry any of you won’t be addressed as honorable in this letter because you don’t deserve it though some or one of you is better than others in terms of your contribution to the development of the Sissala East Municipal.

This letter may sound ambiguous but mind you it is not, all who follow developments in Sissala East know what is carried therein this letter.

The deplorable nature of our roads is a night mare to us especially the WA-TUMU-BOLGA stretch of road. The recent denial of commuters from passage at both DImajan and Navariwie on the road has angered many including my very person and thus the call in this letter.

We will like to use this opportunity to applaud the three of you not excluding your appointing authority for being a night mare to us after we massively voted for your government. We are very much aware that, our insane type of politics has and will continue be the very weakness that you people used and continue to use to enslave us which lead us to nowhere but our individual graves.

It is a public secrete that, the unnecessary rivalry among the three of you has made it almost impossible to collaborate and bring development to us, as was our expectation years ago. You have proved us wrong all this while and we see no amendment with your team unless one or two of you are dropped from the team. These three appointees continue to exhibit their prowess in denting each other’s image just to get the other out of position and their boot lickers or slaves won’t tell them to stop. We see your disunity and abysmal performance as something borne out of sheer greed and wickedness to the people of Sissala East. You keep enriching your political careers to the detriment of the very people you represent.

Blame shifting has become the other of the day amongst you. You keep toying with our emotions as if we  are some puppies rescued from the orphanage and hence must live a passive where wrong doing should not be talked about or our eyes should not be blinked even on the verge of being skinned alive.

It is a bare fact that individually, you people have made your contribution to the land and of course would be assessed on that, we also believe a strong collaboration amongst you will be a very strong weapon and vehicle to bring the needed development to our land. Nothing less than this; is needed at this critical moment.

It is now clear that, our sons who have been appointed by this government are in tatters or in disarray.

Much of the blame on your collective abysmal performance lies squarely on some of the youth who ought to have always advised on the way forward but rather resorted or opted to be your boot-lickers and wouldn’t allow anyone else criticize any of you for sleeping on your job.

These same boot-lickers have on many occasions hypocritically expressed their dissatisfaction about their bosses to some individuals and how they have not had any reward for always defending their bosses mess.

The people of Sissala are very gullible that, these people easily trample on and have them used for dirty things such as insults and castigations. We have created an unhealthy environment where, the very MP that has been elected to represent us cannot be constructively criticized because of some people boot-licking posture or their parochial interest or better still alliance with he the MP. If indeed the MP is being sabotaged by the Deputy Upper West Regional Minister as we are being forced to believe. Why not we seeing a healthy relationship between MP and the MCE and hence a strong collaboration leading to better developmental results?

This letter concludes by sounding a word of caution to the three of you that, war of chastisements betides you respectively should nothing positive comes out of your government to the people.
