Civic Ghana Alliance (CGA) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO),Whose aim is to create a just and enabling environment for grassroots participation in governance by all citizens irrespective of one’s gender, age, tribe, culture, social class, educational status, and or geographical location.
The Civic Ghana Alliance seeks is to deploy tools such as Sensitization, awareness creation advocacy and activism in their way of empowering the citizenry all geared towards local governance participation and also a way of holding duty bearers accountable.The organization is made of techno-crates from different backgrounds who and hence well equipped in their field of study and thus poised to create a social change in their operational areas.
VISION:
Our vision is to see a society where the vulnerable are empowered and given the chance to participate in decision making process that affects them, seeing a society in which all citizens live in peace, unity and harmony with equal opportunities. “A society for all” in which every individual with rights and responsibilities has an active role to play towards nation building.
MISSION:
Our mission is to work in collaboration with state mandated bodies and other organizations towards the reduction of inequalities, elimination of any form of exclusion and discrimination, and achievement of social justice and cohesion for sustainable development.
GOAL:
As a universal goal, CGA works to achieve an inclusive society that entails respect for human rights, cultural diversity, democratic governance, Rule of Law and upholds principles of equality and equity.
CGA has so far engaged in awareness creation and also sensitization programs in some communities. The wiliness for collaboration has so far earned CGA invitation to a series of collaborative trainings by both state outfits and non-state organizations whose aim is to also create a just and dignify life to the citizenry.
